Is an apple the same with a durian?

There is something strange with our Pak Lah's message yesterday on the new price hike of the petrol. Did you notice that he said the new price is still the lowest among our regional countries' petrol price? Yes, he did say that but what was amusing was that none of the regional countries mentioned is a net oil producing nation. If at all Pak Lah wanted to compare, he should have chosen comparable nations such as Kuwait or U.A.E. Frankly, he was not comparing an apple with an apple?
An opposition party leader from PKR, had claimed that most oil producing country's fuel price is way very low from RM 2.70 a litre. Please see below:

1. UAE - RM 1.19 a litre

2.EGYPT - RM 1.03 a litre

3.BAHRAIN - RM 0.87 a litre

4.QATAR - RM 0.68 a litre

5. KUWAIT - RM 0.67 a litre

6. S.ARABIA - RM 0.38 a litre

7. IRAN - RM 0.35 a litre

8. NIGERIA - RM 0.32 a litre

9. TURKMENISTA - RM 0.25 a litre

10. VENEZUELA - RM 0.16 a litre
