Here is another opportunity to make quick money from UT investment. Public Index fund (PIX) will be declaring dividend on FYE January 31, 2012. I assume it is going to be 5 sen a unit. If it declared 5 sen a unit, you stand a chance to earn a yield of 6.50% within today (if you invest today) and January 31, 2012. The illustration above is self explanatory!

The chart describes the time that will take in recapturing back the capital invested. It's a norm that the NAV of fund will drop at post dividend date and to recapture back the pre-dividend price, one should consider the HOLDING PERIOD before exiting out from this investment.
